These arcade shops are underneath the Town Hall on the right hand side. The Market Arcade leads to the Market Hall.

 1900 


Maypole Dairy Co. Ltd. George Watson opened the first shop of the Maypole Dairy Company at 67 Queen Street, Wolverhampton in 1887. Their shops specialised in butter and margarine, not milk. by 1926 they had 1000 shops specialising in just five products: eggs, tea, condensed milk, butter and margarine.
